Ima Jean Sanders (August 26, 1961 - c. August 1, 1974) was a teenager whose skeletal remains were discovered in Georgia in 1976. She had originally gone missing in August 1974. Her remains were unidentified until 2011. A serial killer, Paul John Knowles, confessed to murdering a female hitchhiker who is believed to have been Ima.
