Huizen John Doe was a man whose partial remains were discovered in a wooded forest area just outside of the city of Huizen, Netherlands in 2005.
The burning torso belonging to the decedent had been found in a wooden area on September 6, 2005. The following year, additional partial remains had been located and successfully recovered, including the decedent's charred head and hands, and the remains in question had been matched to the torso that had been recovered one year prior.
Isotopic analysis revealed that the man had likely been born in Ecuador or Colombia, specifically in the city of Medellín, and he had been living in Uruguay or northern Argentina in the months before his death. It is not known how long he had been in the Netherlands before his death.
