William "Herman" Hietamaki (born April 4, 1950) was a man whose skeletal remains were found by construction workers a quarter mile west on a dirt road off of U.S. Route 93 at Milepost 3 near Kingman, Arizona, on November 17, 2009. His head, torso, one or both hands and one or more limbs were not recovered.
He was identified by Othram in October 2024.
Hietamaki was a native of Trout Creek, Michigan, but lived a nomadic lifestyle and was known to hitchhike around the southwestern United States. At one time, he lived in Las Vegas.
His family last saw him in 1995, when he visited his sister in New Mexico. Investigators could not determine a cause of death but estimated he had died in the period between 2006 and 2008.
