Henry Lee Lucas was a man known for his spree of false murder confessions, most notably for that of Debra Jackson. He confessed to thousands of cases and has also been suspected in others. It would later be revealed Lucas was manipulated into confessing falsely to as many as 3,000 cases. He would state himself he only killed his mother, girlfriend and the woman he stayed with.[1]
A timeline of Lucas' whereabouts and some of his confessed killings can be found in the Lucas Report here.
