"Helen Doe" was a young woman killed in a car crash in Kalama, Washington, in 1991.

Case[]

The decedent was a passenger in a tractor-trailer that was involved in a crash on Interstate 5 in Cowlitz County, resulting in the deaths of both her and the driver. Fuel receipts from the truck indicate that the journey began in Missouri on May 7 and passed through Kansas, Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, Idaho, and Oregon before reaching Washington on May 14.

The truck made its scheduled stops on time. While traveling south toward Portland, Oregon, the truck entered Interstate 5 near Kalama and rear-ended another vehicle. The collision resulted in a fire that destroyed the truck's cab and resulted in the fatalities of both the truck driver and the decedent.

The trucker frequently picked up hitchhikers. Despite this, nobody knew anything about anyone riding in the truck that day.
