Hanover Jane Doe is a woman whose upper body was found in Hanover, Germany on December 18, 1977. She is the sixth and final victim of an unidentified serial killer.

Case[]

The victim's upper body was discovered on a dirt road near Hanover. She had strangulation marks on her neck, her arms and legs cutoff, and she was wrapped with an old cotton blanket. Her cause of death was homicide via suffocation.

Between 1975-1977, thirteen body parts of six unidentified individuals-four women and two men-were found around the city of Hanover, with some of the parts near the power plant. The body parts were all found on Saturdays in areas where they could easily be found. No one has been convicted for these murders and no progress has been made in identifying any of the victims.
