Hanover Jane Doe was a woman whose remains were discovered in a trench located approximately 1,200 metres northeast of the main entrance to the local military training area at Bothfelder Heide, Hanover. This training area runs east alongside the Berlin/Dortmund A2 motorway.
Her wrists had been handcuffed, and she had been buried in a hole 110 cm deep. The handcuffs found were inexpensive, mass-produced items from the Far East region.
