Hanover County Jane Doe was a woman involved in a severe vehicular accident in Doswell, Virginia. Her head was not able to be recovered with the remains. No clothing was recovered due to it being incinerated in the resulting fire from the accident.

Virginia State Police responded to a tractor trailer crashed into another trailer and caught fire. Two badly-burned bodies were recovered from the trailer. The driver was identified as 24-year-old Randy Dewey, a truck driver from Pittsburgh. The passenger was initially assumed to be a male but was later proven female. She was allegedly a hitch-hiker picked up somewhere between Jessup, Maryland and Hanover, Virginia.
