Hamilton County Jane Doe was a woman who was found in a creek bed near Interstate 24 in Chattanooga, Tennessee on March 29, 1999. 75 women have been ruled out as the decedent.
Characteristics[]
- Dark brown or black hair.
- Possible bow-leggedness that may have caused an unusual gait.
- Many healed fractures:
- Fractures to the tops of both feet, which may have caused a limp.
- Fracture to the left pinkie finger.
- Fracture to the first rib on her right side, causing her right shoulder to be stiff or painful.
- Healed nasal fracture.
- Extremely poor dental hygiene.
- Only 12 teeth which showed signs of advanced decay periodontal disease.
- Front teeth were missing, likely because of periodontal disease.
- Abscess on left lower jaw.

- Red, "twist-style" ponytail holder around her left wrist.
- Rubber band around her left wrist.
