Hamburg John Doe was an elderly man who was the second discovered victim of the Hamburg Rubble Murderer. He was found five days after the first victim was found.
Case[]
The victim was found by scrap collectors at the Lappenbergsallee in Eimsbüttel, at the top of House No. 2 on 25 January 1947. At first, it was speculated that the man was a tenant of a landlady, but this was disproven when the missing man contacted her.
Between January and February 1947, four unidentified people; two women, a little girl, and an older man, were found nude and strangled in Hamburg, Germany. It has been speculated by police all victims were related, and the killer, the so-called "Hamburg Rubble Murderer", was the fifth family member.
