"H. Daniels" was the unverified partial name of a man whose skeletonized remains were found at a homeless camp a hundred feet south of Lucy Street and 11th Avenue in Florida City, Florida on December 11, 1957.
An investigation suggested he likely died from wood-alcohol poisoning from Sterno cans found at the scene. During that time period, it was popular for transients to drink Sterno to become intoxicated as a form of surrogate alcohol despite its poisonous nature.[1]
According to the Doe Network, while his fingerprints and dental records are unavailable, his DNA is.
