Gilgo Beach Doe, locally known as "John Doe #8" or "Asian Male" was a possible victim of the Long Island Serial Killer. The victim's gender is unknown, as the remains were found in women's clothing.

Case

The victim was discovered on Gilgo Beach, New York along with various other sets of remains, following the 2010 discovery of four other bodies.

It is theorized that the victim may have been killed for being gender variant[1] and/or transgender, possibly upon intimate acts, if they were indeed a sex worker.

The connection to the nine other victims discovered in the same region is questioned by some, based on differences in cause of death, sex assigned at birth, and that these remains had not been dismembered.
