Gerald Durocher (born November 1949) was a man whose severed head was found in the Otonabee River in Ontario in 1988. The rest of his body was never recovered.

He was identified by Othram in December 2024. He was known as Otonabee River Man while unidentified.

At the time of his death, Durocher lived in Ottawa, Canada. However, he was known to live a somewhat nomadic lifestyle.

Characteristics[]

  • Likely a smoker.
  • He was missing most of his molars, his upper left third molar was carious and could have caused him significant pain.
