Frank Nicholas Augenti (born November 7, 1951) was a man whose body was found on the second floor of the abandoned JJ Hill Building in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1985. Because of the cold weather Minnesota experiences during winter, his body was frozen, allowing his features to remain in recognizable condition. He may have been homeless.
He may have died late the previous year or as soon as a couple of weeks prior to his discovery.
Augenti was identified with assistance from the DNA Doe Project in August 2024, being announced publicly in December 2024. He was originally from Nanticoke, Pennsylvania, and later studied at an art school in Allentown. His last known address was in New York in the early 1980s.
