Case[]

Sometime in November 2018, Samuel Little confessed to murdering a woman in Fort Myers, Florida in 1984 or between 1990 and 1991. Little told police it was in the summer and that he had met the woman two years prior to her murder. He and his friend used to go to her family's home to sell clothes.

Little believed the woman lived with her mother and possibly some other family members. When he sold clothes to them, he was staying at a motel with his friend. On the day Little killed the woman, she was outside a liquor store, angry. Little believed she was angry about "her husband or somebody".

The woman got in Little's car and he drove her to an "island" in the road. After they got there, Little strangled the woman to death and left her body in some short grass. He believes he got on the I-75 after the murder. In a follow-up interview, Little said he had also set the woman's pubic hair on fire.

Between 1970-2005, Little killed up to 90 women who were involved in drugs or prostitution. He has been convicted of eight murders in three states and linked to sixty-one additional murders. While this victim's body has not been recovered or confirmed, all of Little's confessions are considered credible. The investigation into Little's crimes are ongoing despite his death on December 30, 2020
