Essex County John Doe was a preteen or teenage male whose skeletal remains were found in 1992 in Newburyport, Massachusetts.
Case[]
The male was located in a wooded area off of Interstate 95, which runs across the entire East Coast of the United States. He may have been dead for a very long time, as it appeared as if the remains had been at the location for several years.
The decedent was suffering from a very painful impacted molar at the time of his death. Despite this, there was no evidence of him ever having received any sort of dental treatment. Investigators believe he was likely a runaway that may have come from any place, including Canada.
