Elko County Jane Doe was a young woman found in the desert in rural Elko County, Nevada.
Case[]
Tourists found the victim's charred remains in rural Elko County. The site was located approximately 11 miles north of Thousand Springs and about 200 feet off US Route 93.
Upon examination, it was determined that the victim had been strangled, doused with fuel, and set ablaze. A red plastic fuel container was found near the body; however, it was concluded that this fuel wasn't the same substance used to ignite the victim.
