Earl Joseph Pizzoferrato (born July 29, 1991) was a man whose partial remains were found inside a bag that washed up on the shore of Douglas Lake. His cause of death was undetermined but is considered a homicide.
Identification[]
Pizzoferrato was identified in 2021 with the aid of the DNA Doe Project, but his identity was not officially released until January 2023. As Pizzoferrato had been adopted, the research portion of the organization's investigation was more difficult.
