Duval County John Doe was a man found in a wooded area by two transients in Jacksonville, Florida. They had entered the wooded area to smoke and found his remains upon moving old tires to sit on. The body was found alongside two live shotgun rounds, one spent round, a zip-gun made of PVC pipes, and multiple shotgun shell waddings near the man's jawbone. It was concluded that he was most likely a victim of homicide due to cranium fractures consistent with gunshot wounds to the interior of the mouth. 17 men have been ruled out as the decedent.
