Douglas John Doe was a man whose skull was found in a desert area near Douglas, Arizona on December 25, 1988.
Case[]
The victim's skull was found by a man checking traps in the area. He found the skull on top of the ground embedded about an inch into the ground. He stated that he was in the area in early November and had not seen the skull then. A brief search of the area by police failed to locate any additional remains.
Although the area is heavily travelled by people who cross the border illegally, the forensic anthropology report states the skull is likely a "trophy skull."
