Dorothy Lynn Thyng Ricker was a woman whose body was discovered in Lake Michigan, against the break wall in Manistee, Michigan. Her cause of death is an accidental drowning.
Dorothy was identified in January 2023 by the DNA Doe Project. Her last sighting was by Lake Michigan in Wisconsin.
Case[]
Dorothy was last seen at a Wisconsin beach along Lake Michigan by two police officers from the St. Francis Police Department. She was sitting on a park bench overlooking the lake when she told the officers that she was from Chicago and enjoying the lakefront and the sun.
The following day, officers spotted an abandoned car with the license plate belonging to Dorothy Ricker, who had been reported missing by the Chicago Police Department.
