Dorchester Jane Doe was a woman who was found dead on October 14, 2005 in a chimney in Dorchester, Massachusetts.
Case[]
Dorchester Jane Doe was found in a chimney in an apartment complex in Dorchester, Massachusetts after a chimney sweep came to clean it and fix a heating problem.
The chimney had originally been used as an incinerator in the late 1960s, but since that time there was an air conditioning unit placed at the opening where the remains were found.
Investigators believe that Jane Doe has been there since 2002, as between January 2002 and January 2005, the access door was usually left unlocked and the remains found were skeletal.
