Diamond Dashawn Copeland was a young woman who jumped to her death from an overpass in Tampa, Florida. She was identified two days later.
Case[]
Copeland was seen alive at 1:30 PM, sitting with her legs over the bridge. She then jumped from an overpass at Highway 92 and Interstate 4. After landing, she was hit by a tractor trailer and died of her injuries.
Investigators had trouble identifying her body and sought help. She was estimated to be 16-25, being 5'6 to 140-150 pounds.
She was not reported missing until June 4. Following this, troopers positively identified her. Her identity was not released until June 7, 2018.
Diamond graduated from High School in 2012 and attended Indiana State University. She was survived by her parents and sister.
