David Sidney Graham was a transient from Washington who was discovered in early 2020 at the bottom of a cliff in Port Angeles, Washington. He was identified in the summer of 2020.

Case

Graham was last seen about two months before his discovery, after making statements indicating suicidal ideation. His remains were found in January 2020, behind the county's courthouse, in an area of the Peabody Creek overlooked by a 200-foot cliffside. His body was in an advanced stage of decomposition, which reportedly complicated the investigation process. The scene where he was found was consistent with what he had specified before he disappeared.

The cause of his death could not be determined, and the possibility of an accidental fall has not been ruled out. It was previously speculated that he may have been intentionally shoved to his death, although it was later announced that homicide was not considered a possibility. At the time of his death, he was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Identification

After two versions of a facial reconstruction were released via social media, investigators received tips that the John Doe was Graham, which was eventually confirmed between July and mid-August of 2020, based on matching scar information and dental records. He had previous arrest history.
