Cynthia Louise Hanes (1960 - c. March 28, 1982) was a woman found murdered in Alabama in April 17, 1982. She had been severely beaten and possibly sexually assaulted. She was identified nearly 28 years later, despite that her name was found written in her right pocket. Hanes was last seen getting in a black van in Maryland on March 27, 1982.
