Cobb County Jane Doe was a young woman who was found murdered in southwest Cobb County, Georgia, on May 10, 1984.

Case[]

The owner of a property discovered the victim's skeletal remains lying in a bed of pine straw in a wooded area near the Chattahoochee River. Her remains appeared to have been dumped on the side of the road and were partially covered with weeds that grew over her. The cause of her death remains unknown; however, her case was ruled a homicide. Investigators suspected that she may have been a sex worker. A shirt found on the victim's body had the name "George" embroidered on it.

The item was traced to Doug Hyde Unlimited, who had employed a worker with the same name. However, no leads came from this.
