
George Clarence Seitz, better known by his middle name, was a World War I veteran whose remains were found buried in the backyard of a private residence in Queens, New York.

Martin Motta, his former barber, pleaded guilty to murder and was sentenced to 20 years in 2022.

Clarence was last seen on December 10, 1976 when he left his home in the Jamaica neighborhood of Queens, New York to get a haircut.
In March 2019, Clarence's remains were discovered in a backyard in Queens, New York. He had been dismembered and only partial remains were recovered. Investigators believed the remains had been in the backyard since the 1970s.
