Ciudad Juárez Jane Doe was a woman whose body was found stuffed inside of a baby stroller in the Papigochi and Parajes del Sol neighborhoods of Ciudad Juárez, Mexico. She is thought to have died by asphyxiation and her body showed signs of physical violence.
Case[]
On the morning of the 14th of August, 2022, residents of the Papigochi and Parajes del Sol neighborhoods in southeast Ciudad Juárez noticed a baby stroller covered by a tan blanket in a vacant lot. The lot was at the intersection of Calle Humariza and Calle Rufino Tamayo behind a convenience store and was littered with trash, tires, and rubble. One of the residents investigated the stroller, only to find a human corpse stuffed inside it with traces of blood around it. Authorities were immediately notified and initially believed the corpse belonged to a male, but they quickly concluded it belonged to a female and dispatched the Special Prosecutor's Office for Women, a division that investigates femicides.
Upon investigation, it was found that the decedent's body had been wrapped in sheets before being stuffed in the stroller. There were indications on her body that she had died of asphyxiation due to a grooved marking on her neck and had experienced physical violence before her death. Residents of the area told investigators that neither of them could tell when the body was placed there despite it being out in the open. Mexico's forensic medical service, SEMEFO, removed her body from the scene after the scene was investigated. No further details are currently available on her case.
