
Chautauqua County Jane Doe was a woman found murdered in New York in 1983. A document found with her body suggests she was native to Canada or Europe.
Case[]
The victim was found lying in a ditch on Route 17 after being shot four times; once in the mouth, the back and twice in the chest. Her exact post mortem interval has not been released but she did die hours prior. She was also sexually assaulted.
As of October 2022, investigators have developed a genetic genealogy profile for her. She has ancestry from the Netherlands, Belgium or West Germany. Investigators have also identified the origins of her clothes. Her jacket was sold in Germany and her skirt was sold in Germany or Italy. All her clothes were very expensive.
Investigators have also learned she had at least one child who would now be in their 40s or 50s.
Characteristics[]
- Mole on her left cheek and one behind her left ear.
- Brown eyes.
- Brown and slightly graying hair.
- Wart above the left eyebrow.
- Had given birth about 15 years before her murder.
- Expensive European dental work, some including gold, on the right side of her upper set of teeth.
- A+ blood type.
- Scar on her throat.
- Shoe size was estimated to be a 5 or 6.
- An IUD made in either Finland, Belgium or the Netherlands.

- White V-Neck, Italian-made camisole.
- Expensive plaid trench coat with green, red and brown coloration with a reversible olive-colored wool side.
- Handmade skirt with shades of brown, blue and red.
