Cascade County Doe was an infant whose remains were located in Great Falls, Montana, on March 11, 1992.
Case[]
The victim's remains were found in an unauthorized grave at Manchester Cemetery by workers digging around a water line. The body was placed in a plastic bag and then buried in a Styrofoam cooler. Their umbilical cord was still attached, and plastic wrist and ankle bands were found on them, but no writing could be identified.
Authorities were unable to identify the victim's race or sex. But they did determine that the victim was born either in the late 1960s or early 1970s, about a month premature, and was buried within a week. The cause of death was not determined, but natural causes or foul play was considered.
The victim was reburied at Manchester Cemetery.
