Carolyn Moudy


Carolyn Dunn Moudy was a young woman who was recovered from a canal in 1975. Her cause of death was not determined, but authorities believe she was murdered.

She was identified with assistance from the Parabon NanoLabs and the LSU FACES lab.


  • Her hair was medium length and either red, auburn, or brown.
  • She had a gap in her teeth, some of which were also crooked

Clothing and accessories

  • A silver ring with a blue stone in the centre surround by glass chips.
  • Dark blue platform shoes
  • Blue, flared pants.
  • A Puca shell necklace.
  • Either a green, flower printed blouse or a green midriff top with a horizon print (this varies from source to source).
