Calcasieu Parish Jane Doe was a young woman found murdered in Starks, Louisiana, in 1997. Her body was dumped and set on fire near an abandoned construction site. The location was also close to a factory and highway. 82% of her body was charred upon discovery, but DNA was still able to be obtained. Investigators are now using genetic genealogy to solve her case.
