Butte County John Doe was a man who was found on the banks of Little Chico Creek in Butte County, California on July 31, 1906. He is buried in Chico Cemetery in Plot 9-1-5 in Chico, California.

It is believed the man was lying down on the creek reading a magazine when he suffered a bleed to his brain and died. Investigators later determined he may have been one of three men who were wanted after a robbery.
