Butler County Jane Doe was a woman who died after being struck by a car on Interstate 75 while walking one mile north of the Tylersville Road exit.

Case[]

On August 10, 1972, during the early morning hours, a driver returning home with his family accidentally hit and killed the woman who was walking along the northbound lane next to the median.

When the authorities moved her from the grass in the median, they found a photograph of an infant nearby. It's uncertain if she carried it or if a passing motorist had discarded it.
