Broward County Jane Doe was a young woman who was found floating face down in a canal in Deerfield Beach, Florida. She had been asphyxiated to death.

- Healed fracture of one vertebrae in the mid-back. It may have occurred as the result of a car accident, fall from a height greater than 10 feet, or direct blow.
- Examination of teeth indicated she was a smoker.
