Bonner County John Doe is a man who was found floating in the Pend Oreille River next to Laclede, Idaho on July 25, 1908.
Case[]
The victim was found by a crew of men working at the ferry stirring the water around. His body was badly decomposed and one foot and both hands were not recovered. Based on his clothing and decomposition, Dr. W.M. Knapp and Henry Mulcahy determined he was a lumberjack who drowned sometime during the winter of 1907.
He was buried later that day at Lakeview Cemetery in Sandpoint, Idaho.
