Boca Raton Jane Doe was a woman whose skeletal remains were found buried in Boca Raton, Florida.
Case[]
The woman's remains were unearthed from a culvert buried off Montoya Circle, west of Interstate 95. It was theorized that she was a victim of serial killer Gerald Schaefer, as he confessed to killing a woman he described as a waitress and hiding her body on Interstate 95.
Other evidence she may have been a victim of Schaefer was that two gold teeth were found in his home at the time of his arrest, and this victim had two teeth removed. However, these later matched to another missing woman.
However, investigators are not sure if she is a Schaefer victim because, based on her postmortem interval, Schaefer may have already been in prison at the time of her death.
