"Big Jim" was the nickname of a Native American male who died of natural causes in April 1902 near Sinker Tunnel in Owyhee County, Idaho. He is now buried at the Oreana Cemetery in Oreana, Idaho.

Big Jim was an older man known for traveling to the city to sell trout. He lived with his family in Castle Creek and was known to have a son. He was reported as lost or missing by local newspapers when his horse was found abandoned in early March. His remains were found on April 25.
