Bernalillo County John Doe was a man whose charred remains were located by firefighters after extinguishing in a brush fire at an area known for transient activity in Albuquerque, New Mexico on November 1, 1997. His death was ruled accidental, he had suffocated on fumes from the fire.

His body was burned beyond recognition that his height, weight, and other characteristics could not be determined, and one or more limbs could not be located. Although no ID was found, witnesses in the area stated his name could have been James Garcia or Ronald Justice.
