Berlin Doe was a female homicide victim found in the Stadtforst Spandau nature reserve in Berlin, Germany, in 1988. The woman was wearing mostly men’s clothing.

Case

In November 1988, a group of forestry workers planting saplings in the Stadtforst Spandau nature reserve found the body in a fenced-off reserve section in a small hole likely dug up by animals. The decedent had been the victim of a violent homicide. However, the exact cause of death has not been specified. Two ropes, commonly used in water sports, were found wrapped around the victim's neck, and the decedent was wrapped in a jute bag.

On 10 May 2023, Interpol launched Operation Identify Me, which aims to solve the cases of unidentified women discovered in Europe. Despite the gender of the Doe being unknown, this case is included in the appeal and is referred to as "The Woman in Men's Clothing".
