"Bag Lady" was the nickname given to a woman who was found murdered in San Diego, California in 1981.
On October 16, 1981, the victim was discovered behind Vick's Office Supplies at 1753 Garnet Avenue in San Diego, California. She had been stabbed in the neck and beaten, and her body had been set on fire.
The woman was known in the area to local residents and businesses as she was seen almost every day. She was a transient known as "Bag Lady." Despite this, law enforcement has never been able to learn her true identity.
