"Baby Moses Washington" was the nickname given to an infant found near the statue of Moses in Washington Park in Albany, New York.

The full-term baby boy was found wrapped inside a blue sack, assumed to be either a pillowcase or a laundry bag, with the umbilical cord still attached but torn. The bag had been burned, and a box of wooden matches was found by the body. He had sustained burns to his legs, bottom and back of his head.

The autopsy showed he was a healthy newborn and was confirmed to have been born alive. It was also concluded that he was already dead when he was burned.

In September 2024, Keri Mazzuca was identified as the baby's mother by Othram and was arrested and charged with second-degree murder, concealment of a corpse, and tampering with evidence. In February 2025, she was convicted on all charges and on April 18, 2025, she was sentenced to 25 years in prison.
