"Baby Hope" was an infant found deceased in Illinois in 2016.
Case[]
The baby was discovered on a private road. No cause of death could be determined. While no artistic rendering of the infant is available, DNA profiles of her parents were used to create composites with the aid of the Parabon NanoLabs. Pollen testing of the evidence found with the infant suggested that the items spent a significant amount of time in an urban area of Northern Illinois and possibly originated in the Southwest United States before coming to Illinois.

- While her mother was pregnant, she took medication used to treat seizures or mood disorders.

- The baby was found inside a black backpack.
- A red bathmat, brown towel and brown toilet seat cover were also inside.
