Anthony Bernard Gulley (born August 31, 1970) was a man found in a field in Canton Township, Ohio. His remains had been disturbed by wildlife.
He was identified by the DNA Doe Project in March 2025.
Case[]
Gulley was reported missing after failing to show up for his job as a porter at a local car dealership. The next day his burnt-out car was found abandoned in Akron, Ohio.
Authorities suspect that Gulley, who had been shot twice, was killed in Pontiac and that his body was later dumped in Ohio. It is believed that he was murdered by George Frederick "Ricky" Washington, a 22 year old man who grew up in Akron, Ohio and was then living in Michigan. He was a wanted suspect in two rapes and an armed robbery. Washington died by suicide on September 30, 1994 during a confrontation with police.
Characteristics[]
- Extensive dental work; many silver fillings and likely had all wisdom teeth extracted.
