Template:UIDHuntington Beach Jane Doe was a young woman found murdered in 1968. It is believed she may have been murdered after accepting a ride from her killer. In 2016, a potential identity for the victim surfaced, a woman named "Rosie" who lived in Long Beach.

Case

The victim's body was found hours after she died. It is speculated that the victim was transported to the field where she was found and was struck by her killer and had also been raped. He killed her by slashing her throat. Her body was then dragged to a ditch.

At the scene, a cigarette butt was found, which may have been left there by her killer. DNA results never matched in CODIS.

A woman believed to have recognized the victim after her morgue photographs were released, citing the victim resembled a friend named "Rosie" who had a husband and two-year-old son that worked at a bar. She was originally from New York.

The victim was "well developed."
She had several cavities, missing teeth.
Her hair was a dark brown.
Her eyes were brown.
She had pierced ears.
Her blood type was O-.

The victim wore a white floral, long-sleeved shirt.
A brown faux fur coat.
Purple Capri pants.
Brown shoes.
A silver ring with a square, blue stone on the wedding finger.
