"Anahita" was the nickname given to a girl whose body was found in the Grand River in Dunnville, Ontario.
An autopsy was conducted on May 19, 2022. No cause of death was released, but a statement was made by Ontario Provincial Police asking for anyone who knew a family with a young girl that had left the area unexpectedly. According to recent DNA testing, she is believed to be of Chinese and North African descent.
