Amsterdam John Doe was a man found by two dog walkers in bushes in Flevopark, Amsterdam, the Netherlands. It is believed he possibly came from Eastern Europe.

Case[]

The body was discovered by two individuals walking their dogs in Flevopark, near a local creperie. Their dogs reportedly exhibited unusual behaviour, prompting the owners to investigate further into nearby bushes. There, they located the deceased male lying with arms outstretched and visible facial injuries.

A forensic examination revealed the man had been shot at least five times in the head at close range and sustained multiple stab wounds to the upper torso. The estimated postmortem interval was less than 36 hours, indicating the body had been placed at the location shortly before discovery.

Police observed a drag mark in the grass leading to the body's location, suggesting the individual was moved after death. Investigators believe the crime likely occurred elsewhere, and the body was transported and dumped in the park, which was accessible by vehicle at the time.

Based on physical features and clothing labels, authorities suggested the man may have come from Eastern Europe, though this remains unconfirmed.
