She was identified in October 2024. Overstreet, the daughter of the residence's former owner, had not been seen since 2005.

Amanda was last seen in April 2005. She was never reported missing.
On January 12, 2024, a woman's severed head and hands were found in a freezer that the owners had recently bought at a garage sale. The garage sale had been conducted by homeowners who had just bought a house and were selling the leftover items from the home's previous owner.
She was identified by the Mesa County Coroner's Office in October 2024. Shortly after her identification, authorities announced that the previous homeowners were her mother Leanne Imer and stepfather Bradley Imer, who is now deceased. Leanne Imer has been interviewed and claimed to not know that Amanda's remains were in the freezer.
