Amanda Gordon was a woman whose charred skeletal remains were found in a burn-pit in Dale, Texas. The remains were long believed to be hers but were sent to Texas State University for DNA confirmation.
Her husband was sentenced to 45 years in prison for her murder in January 2023. It's unclear exactly when she was positively identified, but at his trial it was confirmed the remains were hers.
