Alison Marie Mims was a young woman who vanished from a wedding in 1980. Her remains were found in the area seven years later, but were not identified until 2010.
Patrick Ryon was convicted of her murder in 2014 and sentenced to 18 years in prison.

Alison vanished from her mother's wedding in December 1980. Patrick Ryon was dating Alison's friend Diane, who was also the daughter of the man Alison's mother was going to marry. Ryon got drunk at the reception and Alison offered to drive him home. She was never seen again. Her remains were found in 1987, and identified in 2010. Ryon was found guilty of her murder.
